JUNIOR ADMINISTRATIVE / ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT
POSITITION OVERVIEW
In this role, you will provide administrative support by preparing, a wide range of documents such as reports, proposals, specifications, reception duties and assisting our Office Manager with full-cycle accounting and data entry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
•
Provide administrative and accounting assistance
•
Receive and send out courier packages
•
Answer phones and greet guests
•
Order Office Supplies
REQUIREMENTS
•
Good working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Outlook, Excel and Word
•
Good working knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software
•
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
•
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
•
A strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to take initiatives
•
Valid Class 5 Driver’s licence
•
Previous experience in an engineering, architectural or construction firm considered an asset
SENIOR ENGINEER OR TECHNOLOGIST / PROJECT MANAGER
POSITION OVERVIEW
This position will primarily focus on design of various infrastructure projects including; land development, site servicing, water and sewer renewals, roadway construction, and drainage management. Knowledge and experience with piping hydraulics analysis would be considered an asset. Familiarity with design standards and proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
REQUIREMENTS
•
Registered Professional Engineer with EGM or Technologist with CTTAM
•
Minimum 10 years’ experience in Municipal Engineering
•
Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
•
Excellent written and verbal communications kills
•
Familiarity with design standards
•
Proficiency in AutoCAD
•
Water Resource/hydrology experience would be an asset
•
Project Manager experience or willingness to become a project manager
INTERMEDIATE CIVIL ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGIST
POSITION OVERVIEW
This position will primarily focus on preparing plan, section, detail and schematic drawings, field surveys, and on site contract administration. Familiarity with design standards and proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
REQUIREMENTS
•
A Municipal Technologist or Technician or Design Drafting Technician Diploma
•
Registered with CTTAM
•
Minimum 7 years’ experience in Municipal Engineering
•
Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
•
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
•
Familiarity with design standards
•
Proficiency in AutoCAD
•
Experience in Civil 3D would be an asset but is not a requirement.
PLANNER
POSITION OVERVIEW
This position will primarily focus on urban design, site planning and subdivision design involving residential, commercial, industrial, recreational and institutional development.
REQUIREMENTS
•
Graduate of Planning Program accredited by the Canadian Institute of Planners
•
CIP / MPPI Membership
•
Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
• Aptitude for site planning and subdivision design
•
Aptitude for problem solving, researching and analysing information
• Aptitude for site planning and subdivision design
•
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
•
Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, GIS or AutoCAD experience would be an asset
•
Knowledge of different levels and types of community engagement and how to formulate and implement an engagement
program tailored to the project-specific and/or statutory requirements and client expectations
